Recently, the Toledo Rotary Club Foundation donated a $10,000 grant to St. Paul’s Community Center. Morning Blessings operates  every Tuesday and Thursday, 7:30-10:30 am. Approximately 1,000 people are served a hearty home cooked meal each week. Chef Barb, Pastor Doris Mars Downtown Community Pastor and Hospitality Minister Mike, coordinate many volunteers from such places as Lucas County Developmental Disability  services, Whitmer High School, the nursing schools of UT and Owens, Career Navigators and various. Recently, the Toledo Rotary Club Foundation presented St. Paul’s with a $10,000 grant which assisted in the installation of air conditioners in the meal space. The total cost of the project was $26,000. During the hot summer months the Morning Blessings guests and volunteers are most appreciative!
