In a recent study conducted by the National Center of Education Statistics, it was determined that about 94% of public school teachers spend money from their own pockets on school supplies without being reimbursed. On average, the amount spent ranges from $250-500 annually. The Kids Coalition Against Hunger service project is happening Saturday, May 18th. Set-up begins at 8 a.m. with coffee, bagels, donuts and juice, Rotarians, Rotaract, Interact and non-Rotarians will be sharing their time, talent and muscle as tables are pulled out, set-up and a truckload of supplies pulled off the truck to be ready to go by 9 a.m.!
