As one of the largest Rotary clubs around, we pack a lot into a single hour — fellowship, introductions, club business, and a guest speaker worth everyone’s full attention. Keeping that agenda on track takes all of us.

That’s why we’ve put together our Rules of Engagement, a one-page guide to the etiquette and traditions that make our luncheons run smoothly. Some of it will be familiar, and some of it is worth a refresher. It covers:

• Being seated with your lunch by 12:00 noon sharp
• How to introduce your guests at the floor microphone
• Standing together for the Reflection, Pledge of Allegiance, and Four Way Test
• Asking questions of our speakers at the floor mic, at the end of the presentation
• Our 12:55 pm question cutoff so we can adjourn at 1:00 pm sharp
• The weekly 1:00 pm survey that lands in your inbox — we read every response

None of this is about ceremony for its own sake. It’s about respecting our speakers, our members’ time, and the traditions that have defined this club for generations.
