On May 13th The Rotary Club of Toledo Commemorated 32 Years of Women in Rotary.

Saturday, June 8th 9am-1pm
All Rotarians, their guests, and supporters are invited to attend this fun and exciting event to raise funds for Medical Equipment and Supplies Abroad (M.E.S.A.) Breakfast and lunch provided, and Music at the pavilion during the event.

The Kids Coalition Against Hunger service project is happening Saturday, May 18th. Set-up begins at 8 a.m. with coffee, bagels, donuts and juice, Rotarians, Rotaract, Interact and non-Rotarians will be sharing their time, talent and muscle as tables are pulled out, set-up and a truckload of supplies pulled off the truck to be ready to go by 9 a.m.!  Training begins at 9am.  

That includes the Rotary Club of Toledo, which was already working toward the same end with Alva Bunker, a young man born without fully developed arms and legs who for years was dismissed as “mentally deficient.” Rotarians arranged for Mr. Bunker to receive reconstructive surgery and care at a hospital near Detroit. After a childhood confined to his home and the alley behind it, he flourished.
