Gus, his family partners, restaurant managers and staff spend countless hours on many other projects and charity events in the NW Ohio area. The success, efforts and charity of family partners allows all Mancy’s to spend time giving back to our community. Charity is an important mission in their business philosophy. Important charities include:

NW Ohio Restaurant Association Scholarship Fund. The Fund this spring will award a $2500 scholarship to a young person seeking a career in the restaurant industry.

Mancy Family Scholarship Fund at The Ohio State University. This Scholarship will be awarded to a student from NW Ohio in the Hospitality School at Ohio State.

Above all, Gus knows The Mancy Restaurants are as good as the people who work and partner with their family. Humility has been an important factor in their success and taught for three generations! The 4th generation is in training now! It takes a great team to serve great food and provide great service each and every day for almost 100 years!

His hobbies include spending time with family, golf, skiing and photography. Gus and his wife, Jennifer, have three children.
