Mike Koralewski is the current Senior Vice President of Global Manufacturing at First Solar. In this role, Mike has responsibility for the global manufacturing capacity strategy, execution, operations, engineering, supply chain and plant expansion for First Solar. He has been with First Solar since 2006 and has held the roles of Vice President – Site Operations for the Perrysburg, OH location and Vice President Global Quality Reliability. In these roles, Mike has been significantly involved with keeping the 3,000 and manufacturing associates aligned, energized and results focused as they have constantly performed in the top tier of solar companies across the world.
Prior to First Solar, Dana Corporation employed him where he served as Director of Quality for their Commercial Vehicle Business Unit, along with a variety of quality functions throughout different business units over his 10-year time with the company. He was also part of the Business Excellence team while in the Spicer Driveshaft Division of Dana, awarded the Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award in 2000.
He currently serves on the executive committee for Toledo’s science center, Imagination Station, is on the board of directors for the Ohio Foundation of Independent Colleges and the Toledo Area Chamber of Commerce. He has also been involved and chaired several events for other organizations over the past several years.
Mike is a graduate of Toledo Central Catholic High School. He has obtained a BSE in Chemical Engineering from Case Western Reserve University and holds an MBA from Bowling Green State University. Mike resides in Whitehouse with his wife Jennifer and their children Katelyn (16 years old – attends Toledo Central Catholic) and Collin (13 years old – attends Lial Catholic School).
