SewHope Community Food Packing Event at St. John's Jesuit

In partnership with Kids Coalition Against Hunger, Seagate Food Bank, and Toledo Rotary Clubs, SewHope is holding a second Community Food Packing Event on April 9th. As COVID continues to run rampant through Guatemala, families who live in dire poverty are being pushed to the brink of starvation. White flags rise across the country, symbols of families surrendering themselves to hunger. We hope you can join us on Saturday, April 9th, beginning at 8:00 AM.

The need for food is urgent and great in both Toledo and Guatemala. In 2020 alone, SewHope distributed over 35,000 emergency food packs to starving families in Guatemala. In the Toledo area, one in five children face food insecurity and daily hunger.
