Tim Harrington, Executive Director of The Ability Center, will share the story of the evolution of the Center, made possible by
Toledo Rotary. The organization was started as a Crippled Children’s Home. As community needs changed, so have the services
the Center offers. Today’s programs promote independence and community living. The Ability Center’s vision is for Toledo to become the
most disability-friendly community in the country. The mission and intent of Rotarians long ago continues and on December 10,
2020, the organization celebrated 100 years of service to the Toledo area.
