Joe Rotterdam has been with the Toledo – Lucas County Port Authority for the past two years, where he serves as the Manager of Airport Operations and Airline Affairs. In this role, Joe is responsible for FAA compliance at Toledo Express Airport, as well as air service development. Joe works closely with airlines to grow the number of airlines and destinations available from Toledo.

Prior to his work with the Port Authority, Joe spent six years with the Omaha Airport Authority in Omaha, Nebraska, where he was responsible for air service development and airport operations. Joe is a native Toledoan, who holds both a Bachelors in Air Transport Administration, as well as a Master’s degree in Public Administration from the University of Nebraska at Omaha.

Joe’s presentation will cover air service at Toledo Express Airport, including the recent addition of nonstop service between Toledo and Charlotte, North Carolina on American Airlines. His presentation will also look at present business development activities at the airport, and a look ahead to the future.
