Describe your profession and what is your favorite part of it?
I am CEO of Genacross Lutheran Services. We are a healthcare and social ministry provider. Our service lines include home health, assisted living, affordable housing, skilled nursing, and programs for at-risk youth. My favorite part is seeing the positive impact we make in the lives of the individuals we serve.
What do I like to do when I am not working?
I enjoy running and cycling. I have completed multiple marathons and triathlons. My children are a joy and also keep me very busy.
What is the most satisfying benefit you get from being a Rotarian?
The satisfaction of knowing that Rotarians put service above self. Our communities are built through service to one another and it is gratifying to be a member of organizations that support this concept.
Tell us about your family?
My wife Janet and I have been married for 25 years. We have 2 year old adopted twins that are the joy of our lives.

Share some “words to live by” or your favorite quote
“For I can do everything through Christ, who gives me strength.” Philippians 4:13
What would you be doing if you were not in your profession today?
I enjoy my profession and can’t see myself doing a different type of work. When more time allows, I would like to travel and devote more time to pursue my hobbies of running and cycling.
Other interesting civic or community involvement of which you are a part.
Being new to Toledo, I have had limited time to engage in community and civic activities. I am involved in my church and serve on a number of Boards relating to my position as CEO of Genacross Lutheran Services.
Where do I see myself in 10 years?
I hope to still be CEO at Genacross Lutheran Services and helping the organization make a positive impact on the communities we serve.
